Today was another fairly big day of
driving. Unfortunately (or fortunately for you), we didn't take many
pictures. We packed up from our room and hit the road.
The drive through Montana is beautiful,
however, our pictures don't quite capture the scenery.

We
ended up at the Gallatin
Gateway Inn, a huge hotel almost in the middle of nowhere. The
Inn was built by the railroad back in the days when they were trying to
lure people off the mainline to stay in Montana. With the fade of
rail travel, the Inn slowly slipped away. However, with more people
skiing in nearby Big Sky, the Inn is starting to pick back up. It is
a beautiful building with nice rooms and good service.
We ended the day with a bike ride and then
crawled tired into bed. Tomorrow -- Yellowstone!
